His Excellency Dr.
Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Education, stressed that the approach of
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice
President, Prime Minister, Dubai Ruler, may Allah preserve him, of recognizing
and honouring the distinguished high school students nationwide enhances the
process of exploring distinguished talents and competencies and utilizing them
in future sectors. He added that this approach also harnessed all the required
capabilities to prepare a generation that had enough knowledge and skills to
lead the country in the future.
He said, “The wise
leadership is always keen on providing all the required support, such as
policies, legislations, and laws, to enhance education and boost UAE’s position
among the world’s countries. Our country’s leadership also takes care of talented,
excellent students to enhance UAE’s approach of achieving the aspirations of
its citizens and all those who live in it. In this context, we welcome those
who want to be part of our journey of success and share their ideas, talents,
potentials, and expertise and those who believe that science and technology are
able to create the future we want for our generations to rise and innovate.
H.E. added by saying, “The decision of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed
bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive
Council, to adopt a system for honoring and sponsoring top students studying
various curricula in Dubai consolidates the UAE’s leading position in creating
an attractive and stimulating environment for the creative and talented students.”
He said, “The UAE is boosting its regional and international
role by enriching the approach of progress, development, and prosperity and
adopting sustainable visions and directions, under the wise leadership that has
turned the UAE a global hub for science, knowledge, and
leadership.”
