MoE honors winners of third edition of Founding Leader Award

The Ministry of Education (MoE) celebrated the winners of all categories and medals of the Founding Leader Award in its third edition during a dedicated ceremony held at the Higher Colleges of Technology-Dubai.

 

The ceremony was attended H.E. Hussain Al Hammadi, Minister of Education, and H.E. Dr. Mohammed Al Mualla, Undersecretary of Academic Affairs of Higher Education at MoE. It was also attended by a number of assistant undersecretaries as well as a huge crowd of educational cadres, students and the winners.


The second edition of the Founding Leader Award consisted of 3 major categories featuring 9 items; namely, the distinguished sector, best team implementing National Agenda indicators, outstanding management, distinguished school distinguished nursery, best parents’ council, outstanding research, best tolerance initiative and special honor.  


The award also features medals of distinction at the level of the MoE Diwan and others dedicated to the educational and university field over and above shared medals between the educational field and the MoE Diwan.

The award is aimed at consolidating the thinking and vision of the late founding leader Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan (may Allah bless him), developing the education system and improving the quality of performance of all MoE employees. It is also aimed at achieving the education-related national priorities, spotting higly qualified national educational staff and upgrading the work and services provided by the MoE.

 

Congratulating the winners of the award and wishing them further progress and success, Al Hammadi said: “I am confident that these efforts will continue to be exerted and will inspire others towards fulfilling the wise leadership’s vision and the UAE’s goals of building sustainable education that will help achieve the UAE’s vision and future aspirations for man to remain always the real wealth towards substantial and sustainable progress in our homeland”.


During his speech, Al Hammadi announced the launch of the new corporate identity of the award for its next edition as well as its new website. He also announced the launch of the award’s mobile app together with many solutions that would contribute to bettering the award and making it easier to participate in it.
