His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Education, affirmed that the UAE, under the directives of its wise leadership, has placed education among its top priorities. This aligns with its strategic aspirations to achieve global leadership and continue the path towards excellence in all development fields through a modern futuristic educational system. The UAE believes that education is the basis for qualifying generations capable of competition and strengthening state leadership.

His Excellency said that the education sector, on which the state has founded its comprehensive development plan, carries the hope for a qualitative leap in various development paths. Moreover, to continue the development process, we must instill its value and importance in our students in public and private higher education, as well as public and private schools. We must also prepare the future generation using the best educational standards and provide them with the latest sciences and knowledge, consolidate their moral values, and create environments that motivate competition and creativity to achieve national goals and ensure a prosperous future for our country.

In his speech on the occasion of the beginning of the school year, His Excellency explained the importance of strengthening the role of parents, families, and society, as they share the responsibility of developing the students' minds and preparing future generations. Furthermore, he wished everyone a successful school year, full of giving and hard and fruitful work that contributes to achieving the national educational vision, until our students become the best in the world, equipped with science, knowledge, and 21st-century skills.

His Excellency Al Falasi called on everyone to adhere to the precautionary measures to ensure their health and safety, a top priority that all state institutions cooperate to preserve. During the pandemic, the educational sector proved its ability to face these challenges while continuing the educational process, developing a smart learning system, qualifying teaching staff, and providing capabilities and educational solutions, according to well-thought-out, systematic and proactive plans. These plans and goals were supported by our infrastructure, knowledge tools, positive experiences, and constructive cooperation between all parties in the educational process and other state institutions.
