The right to education of students with disabilities, also known as people of determination, is considered a fundamental right guaranteed by the state. This right is explicitly outlined in Federal Law No. 29 of 2006, as amended by Law No. 14 of 2009, concerning the rights of persons with disabilities. In inclusive education, students with disabilities receive education in the least restrictive environment. This involves a variety of placement options tailored to different levels and types of disabilities. These may include special education classrooms or mainstream classrooms. Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) are implemented based on the specific educational needs of students with disabilities. The IEPs include support services and assistive technologies within and outside these classrooms. These services are provided by qualified and licensed teachers and specialists by the Ministry of Education and relevant local and federal authorities.
