Sheikh Al-Azhar praises The UAE’s experiences in education, culture and thought.

Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar, praised The UAE's important experiences in the fields of education, culture, and thought.

He stressed that the UAE's achievements in this field reflect the awareness of its leaders and their belief in the importance of forming a new generation armed with science and knowledge.

This came during the reception of Sheikh Al-Azhar today of a delegation from the United Arab Emirates, under the chairmanship of Her Excellency Sheikha Khulood Saqr Al Qasimi, Assistant Undersecretary of the Supervision Sector at the Ministry of Education.

Sheikha Khulood Al Qasimi stressed that Al-Azhar's curricula, based on intellectual pluralism and respect for the other, represent the essence of Islam and its tolerant truth, which rejects extremism and calls for tolerance and coexistence. She praised the thought of the great enlightened Imam and his efforts in the development of educational curricula at all stages appreciating his permanent support to the Ministry of Education.

Sheikha Khulood Al Qasimi praised his effort to consolidate the culture of peace and spread tolerance and love. This is reflected in his visits all over the world, and the international conferences organized by Al-Azhar to consolidate the concepts of peace and citizenship, as well as Al-Azhar's support for the nation's issues and the defending of its sanctities.
