School uniform approved for Emirati School students available

The Ministry of Education (MoE) has announced that the approved school uniform of all sizes is available for the Emirati School students in all cycles, calling on parents and students to obtain it through suppliers and approved sales outlets. The MoE has been keen on meeting all students' needs and fix school uniform prices in line with families' economic considerations.

This comes in line with the specificity and requirements of the educational process and is aimed at achieving its objectives in all academic stages and ensuring an environment that stimulates learning and supports students, taking into consideration the need to provide a school uniform that meets their needs. Appropriate and practical school uniform designs for the 2020-2021 academic year have been approved for all students of government schools across the UAE. These designs are in line with certain specifications aimed at achieving a set of educational goals such as meeting modern learning requirements, enabling students to achieve active and interactive learning in line with security and safety requirements in scientific laboratories and applied workshops and urging and encouraging students to excel by taking into account the educational needs of the various disciplines and streams within the Emirati school as per modern educational standards.

Last year, the MoE adopted a uniform for Emirati School students that kept up with certain specifications with a view to enhancing their national belonging and sense of equality and fair dealing, achieving uniform appearance, consolidating positive impressions about school system and enhancing loyalty and social responsibility values, not to mention providing comfort during school hours.

For the new academic year 2020-2021, the MoE announced that the school uniform approved for third cycle male students would be changed and become mandatory, adding that it would consist of a white T-shirt bearing the Emirati School crest on the chest and navy pinstripe trousers, according to foundations drawn from the school environment and the related educational assets and disciplines.

The approved uniform for Emirati School students is in line with the MoE's objectives to provide equal education and a safe environment that supports and stimulates learning in accordance with a modern educational philosophy based on the best educational practices and curricula and on continuous development of all themes of the Emirati School's education system to create a generation armed with modern skills and future requirements.
