H.E. Hussain Al Hammadi, Minister of Education, announced that the ministry is set to soon launch a project for a student affairs e-system that will directly relate to the various life, academic and skills of each student in the Emirati School which will provide a specialized, comprehensive database for students' community.

This will contribute to the provision of specialized information that helps the ministry to come up with ambitious programs, projects and initiatives that achieve essential educational goals, as well as nurture students' tendencies and support their academic orientation based on their skills, abilities, talents and personal potential.
This came in a speech delivered by His Excellency during his presence at the orientation workshop on the strategy of the Ministry of Education 2017/2021, organized by the ministry in Abu Dhabi last week in the presence of H.E. Eng. Abdul Rahman Al Hammadi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education's Support Services Department, Dr. Mohammad Al Mualla, the Undersecretary for Higher Education Academic Affairs, assistant undersecretaries, departments, educational districts directors and area managers in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
Al Hammadi started by stressing the importance of enhancing the roles and work of the teams in the ministry in various sectors and establishing the supporting frameworks for the ministry's future strategies. He highlighted that transparency, coordination and integration are the best practices to translate the aspirations into visions and then into action programs to achieve effectiveness in the performance of an educational institution, especially the new school supervision system, which reflects positively on the level of the Emirati school.
In this regard, he directed the educational leaders, staff and personnel of the field to be intellectually and mentally present and to be aligned with the visions and directions of the ministry. This is achieved by focusing on various educational issues and working more efficiently and sustainably in the educational system, as well as being positive and transparent. Additionally, working on all proposals and developmental perspectives of education that would apply best educational practices, administrative systems and educational policies to speed up the pace of achievement and improve the education indicators. He stressed that education and quality are linked to the pioneering ideas put forward by the field personnel, according to a working system that's based on cooperation and building genuine fruitful partnerships with education institutions and supporting civil and private entities.
The workshop reviewed the main features of the strategic plan of the Ministry 2017/2021 and discussed the features of the strategic plan for higher education and the highlighting the role of the care and activities sector, the curriculum and evaluation sector, the control sector and the school operations sector in the educational system. Presentations were also given on the "Teacher's License" scheme.
